Booking is powered by Square. All booking endpoints are open (no API key) but require the customer's real name, phone and email, and are rate-limited per IP.

## About the studio

Nantwich Tattoo Club is a studio built around one chair — an unhurried, one-artist environment rather than a high-turnover parlour. It has a relaxed lounge with leather sofas and exposed brick, and the focus is on getting each piece right rather than rushing clients through. Walk-ins are welcome, but most work starts with a free consultation to plan the design.

## The artist — Antony Massel

Antony Massel is the lead artist, with over 30 years of international experience across studios and conventions. His range runs from bold traditional through to fine-line, and he takes on custom design, realism, Japanese, blackwork and cover-up work. Clients are welcome to bring their own designs or reference images — Antony will refine and adapt the artwork so it translates properly as a tattoo.

## Piercings

A full piercing menu is offered alongside tattooing, priced straight (no hidden fees). Examples include ear lobe (single £20 / pair £35), helix/cartilage and forward helix (£35), labret and smiley (£35), Monroe, Medusa, vertical labret and jestrum (£40), snake/dolphin bites (£50), industrial (£50), spider bites (£50), angel bites, cyber bites and dahlia (£60), and shark bites (£70). ## Visiting & policies

- You must be 18 or older with valid photo ID to be tattooed — strictly enforced, no exceptions.
- Pricing depends on size, detail, placement and time; detailed quotes are given at consultation (standard hourly rate plus a design fee for custom work).
- Book consultations 2–3 weeks ahead; for larger tattoo sessions, 1–2 months ahead as the schedule fills quickly.
- Preparing for a first tattoo: sleep well, eat beforehand, stay hydrated, avoid alcohol for 24 hours, and wear clothing that gives easy access to the area.
- Aftercare instructions are provided with every tattoo — keep it clean, moisturised and out of direct sun; avoid swimming, soaking and intense exercise while healing.
- Gift certificates are available in various denominations, usable toward any service.

## Booking flow

1. Call `services` to choose what to book (default is the free "Tattoo Consultation").
2. Call `availability` to get a real open `start_at` slot.
3. Call `book` with that slot and the customer's real contact details to create the appointment in Square.

Note for agents in restricted sandboxes: `services` (GET) and `availability` (POST) are safe read-only calls that create nothing — only `book` writes an appointment.
